Is anyone else sick of GM's styling making everything look big and bulky? I sure am!
The other day I was out and saw a new fullsize Chevy truck at an intersection. What struck me was how BIG the truck looked, and it was just a regular half-ton truck. Looking more closely, I couldn't believe how the styling on the truck made it look the size of a freakin' Peterbuilt! I drive a '92 Silverado, and my truck seemed to be dwarfed the '07 next to me.
It used to be GM made their larger vehicles "look" smaller with subtle and creative styling ques. For example, in '57, the '57 Chevy looked larger than the competing '57 Ford, but in reality it was shorter and narrower.
Why can't GM get their styling department in gear and start making stuff look small, and get rid of the gawdy and unattractive styling that seems to be plaguing the brand since the late 90s?!
