I figured I would start out and ask how many of us include our smaller children in our automotive hobby? Our future family vehicle is this 1968 Bel Air Wagon. I had planned to drive it just as a beater, a new engine, transmission, brakes, wheels and tires were all added. One thing led to another and now here is what it looks like. Hopefully it will be painted by Christmas.

My 8 year old son begs to help, and for the most part I let him, but he soon loses interest after half an hour or so. Still, he looks up to his dad as a hero for letting him work on the car. And I guess that’s all that really matters
