Muscle cars and women, do they mix?

We’ve been a bit curious about something here. About a year ago on our paint and body issue of Feb ’07 we ran a photo of this lovely young lady on the cover of the magazine. (The photo you see here is far more revealing than the photo in the mag. This is an out take from the photo shoot.)

What we are curious about is, was this a bad idea on our parts? We received a near tidal wave of negative responses about putting a girl on the cover. In years past an occasional female has made it onto the cover or in the magazine and we never did hear a word about it pro or con from you the reader.

Lets hear from you guys and gals that read the magazine, is this an offensive idea? Or is it an acceptable idea. We are not taking a poll because we plan on running another cover with a woman on it. Far from it, we are done with those types of experiments, but still we would like to hear your input. Yea or Nay?
