In an industry first, GM is taking all the camouflage off a prototype, the 2010 Camaro, and letting all the world see what the actual car will look like.

I think this is a great idea since it'll look so much like the concept car. Pictures are all over the Internet and I think the car will be a smash hit. If it were up to me, I'd like to see an RS version with hidden headlights. I know GM is afraid that something might go wrong with them, but for goodness sake—if they aren't confident they can do a headlight door, how does that bode for the rest of the vehicle?

Still, make might a Z/28 with an LS3, a 6-speed and a turbocharger. OK, then add LS9 cylinder heads and a cam—now we're talking. Orange with black stripes, please, and a black interior.

Any thoughts on the console-mounted gauges? Strikes me as kind of peculiar. It wasn't that great an idea in 1967, though they look cool. As someone once said, it's like wearing your watch on your ankle.
