What will happen to the gasoline powered internal combustion engine?

Yes, I said I want to know what the hell is going on and I want the truth. What is going on with the price of oil? The answer is far more than supply and demand. So please don’t say it is supply and demand.

 I don’t want to see another CNN sound bite of the damnable clods in Congress holding yet another committee where they pretend to ask the oil companies tough questions. What a colossal waste of time. Remember the baseball and steroids inquiry? Did any one in America really care? The corrupt politicians imagine themselves to be champions of the people when they hold these lethargic congressional committee’s. Sure, they carry looks of exasperation and constipation on their faces as they point indignant fingers of scorn at the big oil companies. All the while they feign to champion the cause of the little guy, when in reality they have their vehicles and gasoline provided to them. I find it impossible to believe that that can identify with those who have to fill up the family vehicle every week to the tune of $80 dollars a tank and rising.

What about them? Where are the tough questions being asked of them? Can they tell us when the last refinery was built in the USA? Can they answer the question why they have passed laws making it illegal to drill for oil in areas of the continent where it is in abundant supply? Can they account where all the taxes per gallon of gas go? What do they do with it? Don’t tell me it is used to fix our roads either.

I believe there is more than enough oil to supply the planet and that this is all a man made problem. I really think that oil replenishes its self at a faster rate than they would have us believe. The oil companies, congress, the speculators, and the EPA  are responsible for this mess.

Will the vehicles that we cherish and maintain as a hobby end up in a museum next to the horse and buggy and the horse and buggy end up back on the roads?
