For everyone who wants to praise E85 as the greatest thing since sliced bread, Mother Nature has a cruel joke for you!
Thanks to all the flooding in Iowa, a large chunk of the state's corn crop has been wiped out. not only are analysts predicting higher bulk corn prices, but any products containing corn are expected to see price increases because of this.
So, thaks to the rains, a large chunk of the E85 fuel supply is now gone. Which means that E85 prices are gonna go up accordingly.
Still think E85 is so great?
