Pick Your Poison

Let's say you were given a "food stamp" so to speak and asked to pick one Corvette that you could not sell.

No special editions, no ZR-1, just a base Corvette that you could walk into the dealership and buy any day of the week. Do you buy a convertible second gen that appeals to....just about everyone? Keep in mind that you will be getting fuel milage anywhere from 8 to 14. Or do you buy a C7 and get 30 mph. Keep in mind here that we are talking about a brand new car that anyone could own, including my 80-year old grandmother.
So pick your poison. What will it be? 1969 Stingray, 1986 'Vette, or 2008 C7?
