It's getting scarier out there every day. Today I'm driving to work on Interstate 80 when a truck weaving behind me caught my attention in the rearview mirror. What I saw shocked me—and I thought I was beyond shock at this point. It was a woman fixing her hair in her rearview mirror. I couldn't believe it. She had both hands on her head and must have been steering with her knees.
She was behind the wheel of a giant Lincoln Navigator SUV. This was a serious road hazard. Naturally, the state trooper who only a few miles before had intentionally been driving 65 in the fast lane to slow traffic down was nowhere to be seen. If I wasn't fearing for my life and anxious to accelerate away from her, I'd have taken her plate number and called the state police.
Goodness, doesn't anyone actually DRIVE ANYMORE?
