The demise of Crane Cams was going to hurt everyone in the camshaft business. Many of the grinders across the US use Crane Cams for their cores and would have been in some trouble is Crane actually went out, but insiders are now telling me that after a briefs hiatus away from the market, they will be restructuring and back in the game in no time. I assume this restructuring will look something like the one Holley went through a few months back. Ultimately, Crane Cams will be making camshafts and horsepower related items in the future.
