Drag or Road?

Shifting Trends

At heart, I am a drag guy. 1320 at a time, full throttle, pushing parts and engines to max. Few forms of racing put strain on parts like dropping the clutch at 8,000 rpm. It's an adrenaline rush that can't really be explained.

Though, in our ever-changing hobby, trends come and go, and this one seems to be leaning toward the high bank. Don't get me wrong, pro-street will never die, but pro-touring seems to be growing with every passing day. At least once a week I get a call from someone building one of these cars and looking for advice. Pro-touring cars are more versitile after all. Great street cars, not too shabby on the drag strip, and phenomenal on the road course.

Anyone out there about to start a project we should know about?
