Here's Project American Heroes II at its new home in Torrence, California. Dave Parker, who purchased the charity car at auction for $500,000 to benefit the Armed Forces Foundation, has quite a collection of American musclecars.

From straight-axle Corvettes to the Chevy SSR, this collection is brimming with horsepower

There are a few '69 Camaros, including a Pace Car, a host of midyear Corvettes, including a survivor '63 split window,  full-size cars and Novas. In other photos, we spied a Ford GT, a couple of Vipers, a Boss 429 Mustang and a 1-of-3 '69 Mercury Cyclone Super Cobra Jet.

While some may be jealous, we admire Dave, an entrepreneur who did two tours of duty in Vietnam. His selflessness in spending a half a million bucks on PAHII will allow the Armed Forces Foundation to help thousands of wounded veterans and their families. This is a truly great man and a truly great American.
