So, watching the Indy 500 Sunday, was I the only one less than impressed with the design on the 2010 Camaro pacing the field?
Honestly, with all the great designs they've done on the Corvette in the past, this was the best GM could come up with for the 2010 Camaro Pace Car?
First, let's start with the car's base color being silver. Boring. Not only that, but the new Camaro does NOT look good in silver, stripes or not.
Second, you've got a retro car that looks a lot liek the '69 Camaro, why not do a recreation of the '69 pace car scheme on the new car? Something that looks retro with a slight blend of modernism. A scheme that could maybe be sold as a package at dealerships for white Camaros?
Sales are slow, times tough, now is when dynamic and eye catching marketing is so desperately needed by Chevrolet/GM, and here's another opportunity they missed that could've helped sales.
