General Motors, under the direction of the United State Government, of course, is working quickly at reorganizing and restructuring the corporation.

We are hearing that a Chinese company has interest in the Hummer brand. We have also been told that Koenigsegg wants to bring Saab back to Sweden. For those living under a rock, Koenigsegg builds only a handful of automobiles a year to the tune of about 18 but they are hands down, some of the best built machines on the planet easily running right up to the 250mph mark. But most interesting to me is the possible acquisition of Saturn by Roger Penske and the Penske corporation. Penske's legendary run in all forms of motorsports is what really gets me excited about this going through. Roger personally ran Formula 1 over thirty years ago. He is the owner and sponsor of several Indy Car and NASCAR Winston Cup entries. I am not a huge lover of the Saturn brand but like the idea of new ownership with new ideas. How about Saturn in NASCAR?
