GM Going Green?

Only the logo perhaps

Was surfing through sister publication Motor Trend's website last night when I read that GM may change the background color on its logo from blue to green. At first I thought it was a joke, but then I realized the writer was serious.

What kind of pandering to the eco kooks is this? How many billions of taxpayer dollars would it cost to fund this change and to market it worldwide? Maybe the green would represent all the hard-earned taxpayer dollars the government sent to Detroit.

This is going to help return GM to solvency? Ugh.
