I was flipping through some old car brochures I have, and wanted to share a page form my '69 Camaro sales brochure...
Except for a few cars, today most people just find a car on a lot that suits them. But back in the day, while a fair amount did just buy what was on the lot, more people ordered their cars to suit presonal tastes, needs, and wants.
Looking at the back page of this old brochure, can you imagine what it would've been like to be car shopping int he late '60s? Having a brochure, looking through all the options, and telling the sales guy what you wanted.
"Not sure if I want to go witht he big block or the small block?"
"Hmm, should I go with a 4-speed or the automatic?"
Wonder if we'll ever see days like that again?
