Great '58s

How about a half-dozen of them?

Once upon a time, the '58 Chevy got about as much respect as Rodney Dangerfield. Oh, after the film American Graffiti, interest picked up, but it died down again soon thereafter. We have seen a resurgence over the last two years as people finally got an appreciation for this one-year-only design. But no one tops John Cox of California, who has six of these bad boys, including a 4-speed, fuel-injected Impala.

Yes, it's rare—who knows how many were built and how many survive

John Barkley, a co-worker and associate publisher of Street Rodder magazine, sent us the two photos you see here. Nice stuff!
