Norwalk Racers Are Tough

Four Hundred Drag Racers Beat Down A Weather Forecast

I'd like to give a big shout-out to the 400 or so drag racers who made it out to our Super Chevy Show in Norwalk, Ohio. Despite a rather ominous weather forecast, they came, they entered, they kicked butt! In true Summit Motorsports Park fashion, an unbelievable 350 cars showed up for the Friday test & tune, despite the fact that the weather people were predicting thunderstorm for the entire weekend.

The Shoebox class had everything from a '37 Chevy truck to a '60 Impala

Unquestionably, they put on a wild show for three full days. There were just one or two brief showers on Saturday and the show went off without a hitch and we got the entire event completed—all the bracket classes, the fuel altereds and the Shoebox Shootout. Way to go, everyone!
