 I've been noticing lately, the rat rod trend has been expanding beyond its usual demographic of pre-1960 cars...

The "rat rod" genre is surging in popularity, and with that, it seems people are turning to '60s Bow Ties to use for rat rods. I was just curious what our Super Chevy readers thought about the rat rod trend, and the fact that from tri-five through early '60s Chevys are being used.

What do you guys (and ladies) think of rat rods? Is there a place for them in Super Chevy?

1. For those of us with out alot of money biulding cars piece by piece are cars tend to look like rat rods for long peiods of time not that we all want them to look like that forever but ya gotta make do with what ya got right? So to answer your qeustion ya they should be encluded these are the real day to day driven cars! Plus you can always do follow ups in the future to show how these cars come along as the normal low buck owners have built them for a long time. As far as being a rat rod being a finshed car thats up to the rest of the crowd.
