On the way to the NSRA Nationals in Louisville, Kentucky, the Road Tour group had to make an unplanned stop for an overheating issue with one of the tour cars...

The run from Tucucami to Amarillo was delayed as Jim Rizzo's Model A pickup overheated along I40. We all pulled over and fed it almost 3 gallons of what we had (water and/or antifreeze). Got back on the road for another 8 miles or so and she boiled over again.

This time we saw it coming and we coasted into a Shell station in the town of Vega.
Cooling her down and still trying to determine what the Fix Or Repair Daily's problem is.

Chevelle's last run at 70 to 75 mph netted 14.8 mpg!
