The Street Rodder Road Tour moves on in day four...

Monday's start to the day began with stopping at last night's hot spot the Conoco Tower gas station. This is an actual 1930s ear art deco gas station at the corner of Routes 83 and 40 on old Route 66.  A very cool treat.  Jerry Dixey does a great job at putting these cool stops together for the Road Tour.

Last night was a late one as Jim Rizzo's Model A pick up spit it water like a tea pot. We did road repairs and again a 11 PM or so sidelined us for an hour. Hope we get this figured out.

Today our first stop is the Route 66 Museum in Clinton. After an hour or so of checking out the history of the Mother Road we off to Afton Ok and home of Darryl and Donna Starbird's National Rod & Custom Car Hall. This will be a special treat to see the custom show cars I saw a long time ago in Chicago's Amphitheater.

Yee Haw!
