Grumpy's Camaro Going To Auction

Own A Piece Of Grumpy Jenkins Auction History

In the Chevy drag racing world, no name is bigger than that of Bill "Grumpy" Jenkins. The Malvern Missile, who was out signing autographs at our Super Chevy Show at Maple Grove Raceway in Pennsylvania last summer, ran a string of ultra-successful "Grumpy's Toys" Super Stock and Pro Stock cars back in the day. Now you can buy one.

His former 1970 Chevrolet Camaro Pro Stocker, alias Grumpy's Toy VIII, is scheduled to cross the block at the Mecum Auction in Kissimmee, Florida, at 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 29. It'll be aired live. Given the state of the economy, it's hard to judge how much it'll go for, but there are few cars with as much history going across the block.

After going through some health issues this fall, we understand Bill has made a full recovery and is as active and grumpy as ever. Way to go, Bill!
