LSR Performance out of Valdosta, Georgia (and Pompano Beach, Florida) is a new company making parts for the fifth-gen F-body and we had a chance recently to sample a 6-speed manual ’10 SS with all the parts its sells. We flogged it on the road course and drag strip at Gainesville Raceway in Florida.

LSR replaced the stock rotors with its own parts and braking was definitely improved

While you will have to wait for an upcoming issue to get the full test results, we will tell you the car was a beast at the strip and its three bolt-ons (SCT custom tune, cold air kit and cat-back exhaust) shocked us by how much they improved performance over stock. We dyno tested it in our Snap On Tech Center in Tampa and it made 415 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque (SAE corrected) on our new DynoJet chassis dyno. The Tri-Ax shifter was a revelation, making powershifts a breeze at the strip and up/downshifts effortless on the road course. It was a quantum leap ahead of the stock flaccid unit. It also turned in respectable times on the road course (we'll have video from it soon).
