There isn't a more celebrated movie about the car culture than American Graffiti. This movie hit the theatres in 1973 with a plot of high school graduation, cruising and music from a summer night in 1962. This movie went on to become a time capsule for future generations on what it was like to be young and into cars in the late 50's and early 60's and features some really cool rides from the era.
The Dallas Area Classic Chevy’s are proud to be able to bring actress Candy Clark who played Debbie in the movie to Texas for the Lone Star Classic Chevy Convention on May 27-29 2011. She will be on hand to sign autographs, chat about the movie and about how much she loves cars. And who knows, she may even sit through another viewing of American Graffiti when it’s shown Saturday Night of the Convention at the Drive In Movie theater set up in the parking lot of the host hotel Sheraton Grand DFW.
