A spokesman for Performabuilt said, "We were introduced to Bob Dinimo, the owner of Numidia Dragway, and discovered we had a common interest in promoting a venue for the street legal racers in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. This group has long been largely ignored by a lot of tracks. The primary focus has been on the pros and the "big guys" while the street legal crowd is actually the backbone of performance car industry.
When Bob told us that they were going to vigorously promote a series for this class, we jumped at the opportunity to sponsor the series. These are the guys that support us in what we do, and we saw this as an opportunity to give back...........and have a heck of a lot of fun in the process."
