How Far Have Things Come?

Progression of Restoration Parts

Things have come a long way in the last 30 years...

We're getting ready to do a gauge cluster update in a '70 Chevelle with the help of Classic Instruments here at Classic Automotive Restoration Experts. Noticing the tired looking SS dash insert, the car's owner told us "I restored it back in the early '80s using Testors black enamel for painting models. It was the only option out there."

Today we have enough parts available from the restoration suppliers to build WHOLE CARS! As a kid I remember hunting swap meets with my dad for parts because that was the only way to get them. Now, all you have to do is hit the internet and order just about anything you need.

Hell, you don't even need an original body these days! Call up one of Dynacorn's dealers and you can have a whole Camaro body, ready to paint then equip.

Wow.
