Are LS motors becoming blase?

Not that long ago, LS motors in classic Bow Ties were a rarity...

Now they're as common as Gen I motors. So the question is, are LS motors becoming the norm? And has the novelty of an LS in a vintage Chevy worn off?

1. While the science behaind the LS is incredible, with truly amazing performance, they are becoming fairly commonplace. My own take on it is this.... My '72 Elk still has it's complete numbers matching drivetrain, and those cars that do can only become that much more rare, perhaps increasing the value even more. But then again, who knows how long we'll be able to get compatable fuel for these old dinosaurs??? Hate to see em become solely museum pieces....
