Rumors of his demise untrue

In the articles in the April 2012 issue of Super Chevy about the replica of the 1961 Old Reliable racecar and the interview with Bill Jenkins, is was written that noted longtime header builder Jerry Jardine was no longer among the living. We spoke to Jerry today and can vouch for the fact that he's not only very much alive, but still making headers. He's now working with his sons, Jerod and Tyler, in a new venture called Jerry Jardine's Header Palace in Dubois, Wyoming.

Jerry is concentrating on building headers for the old-school hot rods like 409s, big-blocks, etc., while his sons are working on doing custom headers, including stuff for turbo applications, racecars, etc. For more information on Jerry Jardine's Header Palace, call them at 307-455-3960, or visit jar-tec.com on the web.

To Jerry, we offer our most sincere apologies. We're definitely glad he is still alive and doing well. We regret any inconvenience this mistake may have caused.
