The third stop on the 2012 Super Chevy Show tour (Ennis, Texas, May 10-12) is less than three weeks away and it promises to be another great one. Texas Motorplex General Manager Gabrielle Stevenson has not only promised a Texas-sized event, there will be cruises to the track, the Super Chevy True Street Challenge, and some cool stuff for the show winners. Pictured are two of the three items that will be in every goodie bag: A luggage tag and a refrigerator magnet. Not pictured is the free hat. In the lower right part of the picture is what each race winner and show winner will receive: A commemorative coin depicting the Ennis Veterans Memorial.
If you love Bow Ties, you won't want to miss any part of this Super Chevy Show, from the Corvette shootout to the Super Chevy True Street Challenge, to the amazing car show. On Thursday there will be an escorted cruise from Canton, Texas, to bring the American Veterans Traveling Tribute Wall to the Motorplex for the weekend. There will be another cruise on Saturday, not to mention special awards, drag racing, autocross, and the always popular AMSOIL Best of the Best competition, presented by Danchuk and Classic Muscle.
Anyone who wants to cruise to the Motorplex with Super Chevy Magazine editors and photographers will gather in downtown Waxahachie (in front of the courthouse, corner of College Street and E. Main, Waxahachie) for coffee, snacks and camaraderie. The cruise will depart Waxahachie at 9 a.m. and everyone will be led by escort to the gates of Texas Motorplex.
